Doxycycline is a tetracycline antibiotic. It works by slowing the growth of bacteria in the body and reducing inflammation.
Without proper eyelid hygiene, conditions resulting in inflammation of the eyelids and dry eyes can develop. For acute cases of eyelid disease, the Ocudox Convenience Kit may help prevent or drastically reduce inflammation by removing oil and debris from the eyelids, employing the use of an oral antibiotic as well as an antibacterial cleanser and eyelid spray. Ocudox should only be used to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by bacteria.Back to Top
